Daily Duties at Chemring Ordnance:
• OSHA compliance,including; lock-out/tag-out, confined space, radiation safety, process safety management, MSDS program, emergency response,fire protection, workers compensation management, safety audit, work instruction safety. • New process and product development safety. • EPA compliance, including; waste water, RCRA burn facility, hazardous chemical disposal and air quality. • Senior staff team member reporting directly to division president. • Compliance with Department of Defense regulations associated with explosives manufacturing. • Represent company in all interactions with federal, state and local regulatory agencies. • Manage a staff of exempt, non-exempt and hourly personnel. • Responsible for EHS department financial management. . Prepare and deliver presentations to management.
