Daily Duties at Jefferson County Public School:
provide education to students for vacations, call offs and as needed to cover classroom time when the primary teacher is unavailable. I maintained appropriate records including checking test papers, recording grades, student assignments for homework, projects and the necessary clerical work required to maintain student records for a teacher who is absent. I provided for individualized and small group assistance for students as indicated by lesson Plans. I was responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. I implemented teacher lesson plans, assigned student class work and homework, maintained classroom control and disciplined. I completed a daily report or evaluation to communicate any pertinent information resulting from the day's events. I implemented lesson plans in a manner which motivates students to learn and participate. I organized students for effective instruction.
