Daily Duties at Gwinnett County Public Schools:

Raise participation of minority and economically disadvantaged students in Advanced Placement classes through effective collaborations with the Director and School Principal, and establishing the means to support student participation. • Facilitate rigorous and supportive learning environment for students by providing new educational opportunities for Middle School, Honors and Advanced Placement English, Mathematics, and Science teachers • Plan and organize college visits to various colleges for low-income students and their parents/guardians • Provide staff with optimum resources to assist students in the classroom by attending conferences, staying abreast of current educational trends. • Evaluate and assess grant components and prepare GPRA report for the U S Department of Education Federal Grant • Develop or coordinate informational opportunities for teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors within the cluster through on-site workshops, in-service, and vertical teaming. • Raise awareness of Advanced Placement program goals and mission within the community by planning and chairing meetings. • Provide vision and leadership for the coordination of resources to support and enhance student learning
