Hired to improve the reputation and profitability of the Florida unit after numerous years of declining asset and profitability levels. Proposed strategic plan, business plan and implementation of approved plan. Brought in additional customers and stopped client departures. Hired additional client service staff to increase assets under management. • Recruited by Bankers Trust to turn around unit which had lost assets in each of the previous three years • Recommended strategic plan and implemented tactics for Deutsche Bank's private banking division in the southeast United States • Responsibilities included management of all aspects of the Florida subsidiary banking operations which offered a wide range of private wealth management products including banking, lending, trust, investment advisory and custodial services • The position was that of a “player/coach” and in that capacity I marketed to HNW individuals and intermediaries in select Florida cities outside of the Palm Beach County area including Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Vero Beach, Naples and Miami • Responsibilities also included corporate governance and direct interaction with the Board of Directors and outside regulators • The most notable achievement was a turn around of the subsidiary from asset declines in each of the previous three years prior to arrival • During first year, the office staff was stabilized, market awareness was increased, and profitability grew. Within three years, assets under management were increased by over 75% to $1.7 Bln
