Daily Duties at Deutsche Bank (Legacy Bankers Trust):
Responsible for compliance with Know Your Client process and acted as a resource to all client-facing staff in Private Wealth Management ("PWM") with regulatory questions. In addition: • Bring all elements of PWM divisions together within regulatory constraints (asset management, fiduciary, brokerage) ensuring client is served by all • Acted as a resource to all client-facing staff including DBAlexBrown, Scudder and Deutsche PWM focusing on interaction among three divisions • Ensure all legal entities under which PWM operated are doing so within applicable regulatory and internal guidelines • Review, recommend, and implement a strategy to reduce the number of legal entities under which PWM operates • Continue limited business development functions and client maintenance • Responsible for oversight of activities in the Florida subsidiary with day to day responsibilities handled locally Interfaced with NYS Banking authorities and the Federal Reserve of NY on PWM regulatory matters. Both entities, prior to my arrival, had monthly meetings with management about how the bank was operating itself. They had offices within the headquarters building and was one of the PWM representatives at the meetings.
