Daily Duties at Key Bank, N.A.:

Handle a $20MM to $50MM portfolio of troubled credits. ($500K to $20MM) Make credit recommendations on a case by case basis. Used Hogan and Loan Bank software to monitor daily activities of high risk small and middle market companies. Decision whether or not to honor checks when funds were insufficient. Interface with legal (inside counsel) about progress and strategies on specific matters. Mentor junior credit officers, and line lending officers. Shadow line lending officers as needed. Attend credit committee meetings as required. Maintain a rolling projection of estimated non-accrual and potential charge-offs within my assigned portfolio. Interface with appraisers, accountants, OCC regulators as required. Upon review of financial information, decide whether or not to retain or exit the relationship. Restructure loan documents as needed. Flag and correct via Forbearance Agreements any bank documentation errors. Maintain direct contact with the borrower. Make site visits the borrower (typically a manufacturer). Negotiate for additional collateral or motivate borrower to exit the bank. Make court appearances on behalf of the bank as required.
