Daily Duties at Ibm:
Responsible for IBM's penetration of Lockheed Martin Space, Command and Control Systems Business Opportunities. Develop and execute a market penetration strategy utilizing software sales and support team. Drive software into new account/investment territories. Drive cross-brand portfolio solutions and offerings Drive strategic customer commitment and success Identify new strategic programs within Lockheed Martin where IBM technology can be used within the DoD environment Identify key contacts on key programs and develop a call plan to determine where IBM technology can be used; and for IBM to present technology solutions to LM. Look into existing contracts or programs and identify new revenue opportunities or develop a replacement strategy for competitive products. Set up technology briefings; coordinate opptys, speakers, agendas, etc. Leverage the strength of the integrated team, IBM's brand portfolio and the corporate assets of research; invest in subject and domain expertise to strengthen the overall value we create for the clients. Participate in meetings, conferences, trade shows, and social events with Federal integrators, executives, partners, resellers, and senior DoD officials; ensuring that IBM is known with the Federal Market. Work with the software; hardware, services, and client team to achieve a greater awareness of IBM's solutions to the end user. Directed short and long range objectives and strategy, recommended actions, and briefed higher management on strategy. Identify and implement call plan for key LM and IBM executives, Develop customer, competitor and market understanding for assigned market Captures and records customer information, sales activity, and forecasting into appropriate CRM database. Operates as an integral part of the Regional sales team, contributing skills and knowledge of the customer needs to the development of accounts. Obtains competitive information during daily contacts and as appropriate so as to develop tactical and strategic sales plans. Contributed/Conducted to the development of new sales revenues by identifying potential sales opportunities, conducting conference calls, delivering customized presentations, working with subject matter experts; to increase new business opportunities and/or close sales. Visit account(s) on a regular basis in order to maintain a strategic relationship status; identified necessary account changes and opportunities efficiently. Participated in technical and preliminary economic feasibility studies, developed new strategies/concepts; working with cross functional subject matters experts; to deliver a solution to customer; with a end result of LM picking IBM over our competitor. Presentation and client-facing skills across a wide variety of audiences, which included technical and non-technical environments. Utilized knowledge of intellectual property to conceive and position value-added solutions to promote new and existing business growth.
