Daily Duties at Arrowpoint Corporation:

Conducts assessment of marketing opportunities and target markets and assists in developing and contributing to the pipeline; oversaw the production of printed materials and presentations used to support the growth of new business with new and existing customers. Plan and execute intelligence gathering on customers and competitors; performs pre-sale and customer relationship consulting as related to the development and capture of business opportunities in the Federal and Department of Defense marketplace. Maintains thorough understanding of Federal and DoD procurement process; working with contracts; and utilizes this understanding to develop and maintain business communications with potential end customers and prime contractors. Analyzes newly discovered business opportunities and presenting bid/no-bid recommendations to senior management. Participates in proposal development/leads business capture efforts, supplies tactical and strategic information on integrators, competitors, and customers. Cultivates relationships with both end-customers and potential prime contractors, identifies business opportunities, and positions Arrowpoint as the contractor of choice. Plan and execute lead generation for possible new business opptys; through personal meetings, cold calling, presentations, emails; speaking engagements, business networking, business forums, conferences, and/or other business or social gatherings. Support the account teams in the areas of opportunity development process including client relationship development, client/opportunity targeting, opportunity qualification; win strategy development and execution, deal shape and contract closure. Drive, support and participate in all relevant proposal activities. Work with qualified consultants for client projects as needed; analyzes clients needs and develops strategies tailored to each customer. Pursues net new business through a high volume of strategic prospecting, account development, and partnerships with existing account managers and new customers. Captures and records customer information and sales activity; along with forecast data into appropriate business system tool. Direct support teams in full life cycle of projects from idea generation to concept development and execution Determine the scope and objectives of the deal; prioritize business proposals against, investment criteria, company strategy; funding and additional resources needed to complete new business review. Coordinate with internal subject matter experts, pricing, operations, and senior management to ensure deal progression. Utilized a variety of marketing concepts to develop long-range and short range marketing plans to build brand/company recognition and drive a consistent flow of new customers; new markets; new teaming with new partners. Assist in advising on, drafting and enforcing policies and processes and follow up activities Assist in developing formal proposal and/or presentation material for senior management and senior customer reviews Work with Operations to ensure that the existing business base stayed steady; won 9 out of 10 re-competes with repeat customers; and providing a tactical focus on company resources. Grow existing customer base, identify new target markets, broaden teaming partners and strategic relationships. Interface and manage relations with Arrowpoint customers globally; communicate effectively with all levels of management; create and give successful presentations to management and customers. Work directly with leadership to design; develop and execute plans (including call plans); and strategies selling solution led services that leverage partnering and alliance relationships. Interface with Arrowpoint technical, program, and senior management. Manage projects to a need date and within assigned budget.
