Daily Duties at Walgreens Pharmacy:
Managed day-to-day operation of pharmacy including employee supervision, sales, margin, inventory, scheduling, recruiting, training, and pharmacy operations. Developed and implemented departmental policies and procedures. Dispensed to patients prescribed medications according to professional standards and state and federal requirements, always assuring accuracy. Counseled patients and medical practitioners on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals. Cultivated working relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Supervised a team of 20 consisting of full time and part time pharmacists and technicians within 3 stores.
