Daily Duties at Osf St. Francis Medical Center:
Responsible for monitoring patient flow in Admitting Department by entering patient data in computer upon patient's arrival. This department is one of the busiest department in the medical center, thus, employee attendance is crucial. Patient flow sheet is first step designating the reason for patient's is escorted to that Customer Service Representative. Date and time are noted on intake sheet. Approximately five Customer Service Representatives are on staff at all times. Patient is taken to available representative for update of billing information. Upon completion of appropriate intake forms, I took patient to appropriate destination for testing. My acute listening skills and compassion was crucial because of people’s vast cultural experiences and situations.
