Daily Duties at Corizon (Formerly: Correctional Health Services, Inc.:
• Managed the healthcare delivery system of a large Level 4 Facility with a 14 bed infirmary in Carlisle, IN. • Coordinated all services which included pharmacy, x-ray, dental, mental health and addiction services. • Supervised a team of 52+ professionals plus specialty services staff and Independent Contracted Providers. • Partnered successfully with IDOC, Health Department and various other agencies to ensure the health care services were in compliance with all aspects of the client contract and state laws. • Responsible for hiring and training of all personnel and Independent Contractors. • Submitted timely and accurate reports regarding financial performance and on site budget. • Developed and maintained a positive, professional, collaborative relationship with the Superintendent and various IDOC administrative and custody staff.
