Manages 5 Product Safety professionals. Managed and conducted safety evaluations of global and regional products and raw materials utilizing pre-clinical and clinical testing, chemical analyses and risk assessment techniques. Developed precautionary statements, first aid and other label and product language.Conducted exposure and risk assessments to meet product and California Proposition 65 regulations. Prepared, generated and maintained product, intermediate and raw material Material Safety Data Sheets. Participated in generating Global and Regional regulatory strategies for new and reformulated products under US FIFRA, CPSC, FDA, TSCA, DOT and European Biocidal, Dangerous Substances/Dangerous Preparations, Detergent and REACH Directives. Provided technical expertise in toxicology, safety, health and product safety to various product business teams and corporate divisions; served on the Product Stewardship Team. Provided assistance in litigation defense and served as an expert witness in depositions and trials. Supported Customer Service activities including primary source for emergency health and safety information. conducting customer accident investigations, provided product toxicology, health and safety information and expert knowledge to customers, end-users and government agencies. Prepared and managed the Product Safety regional budget. Served on various industry and inter-industry task forces.
