• Provided in-house legal advice and assistance to non-profit professional certification board, including professional ethics case proceedings, regulatory compliance in areas of consumer solicitation and non-profit tax regulations, development of related regulatory compliance and risk mitigation policies, drafting and handling of contracts for trade secret and trademark licensing, advising on trademark and copyright registration, commercial transactions and handling of responses to suspected trademark infringements • Provided assistance and advice to Board of Directors and CEO regarding corporate governance, trademark registration and other legal matters with drafting of documents for official Board actions, filed motions and briefs and participated in hearing for state administrative proceedings, drafting and negotiation of commercial sales and corporate nondisclosure agreements, and conducted state bill and regulation tracking • Provided independent, pro-bono legal services to faith-based sole proprietorship by drafting commercial services and sales contract, handling dispute resolution and advising on protection of copyrights and representing client and negotiating favorable settlement of a contractual dispute
