Daily Duties at Cumulus Broadcasting:

• Prospected and developed new business, and sold radio marketing solutions to both existing and prospective radio station clients ; Identified and developed new business opportunities for upsell within those accounts • Possessed a deep understanding of the clients’ business and business category(ies) • Identifying and relationship-building with local business owners and key decision-makers, as well as agency media buyers and planners • Increased rate and share year over year, despite ratings fluctuations; Consistently identified opportunities to leveraged existing marketing tools and sources for clients • Wrote, updated impactful radio campaigns, including conception, and execution of promotions • Inter-departmental management of all aspects of account service including, sales, copy-writing, production/traffic coordination, invoice reconciliations and collections • Prepared and presented all marketing pitches and presentations, as well as other complex information both orally and in writing to clients, as well as inter-departmental teams • Prepared and presented sales meetings to entire sales force, as well as prepared PowerPoint presentations on a wealth of relevant topics, for sales staff use as templates. Encouraged and motivated all members of the team including new hires and Junior level sellers to help grow their skill set thus increasing cluster profitability • Responsible for 75% of the cluster’s Regional accounts ; Singly responsible for 25-30% of cluster revenue • • Promoted to market KAM by local and corporate-level management, to manage a Regional account list responsible for 80% of cluster revenue. KAMs represented less than 5% of the company’s national sales force • Generated reports and forecasts directly to corporate-level management
