Daily Duties at Ues, Inc. At Usaarl:
Perform laboratory tests according to MIL-STD 461E and MIL-STD 810F to achieve a Fleet Airworthiness Release (AWR). Duties also include reviewing data to write Test AWR requests and Fleet-wide AWR requests for UH-60A, UH-60L, and HH-60A helicopters. Additional duties include assisting primary investigators in the engineering assessments of medical devices used during aeromedical evacuation. Ensures laboratory test schedules are coordinated between multiple ongoing and new research initiatives. Interacts with customers in defining their test and research needs, estimating resource requirements, resolving scheduling conflicts, and communicating program status and results. Assists in the development of research protocols involving human subjects. Review all test data to determine potential hazards to the flight medic, flight surgeon, and patient. These hazards are then presented to a multidisciplinary committee for review. Duties also include choosing committee members and managing risk assessment meetings to determine the assessments of risk for inclusion in the Aeromedical Memo that covers all flight medic, flight surgeon, and patient safety issues.Other duties may be required.
