Daily Duties at Gujarat Communications & Electronics Ltd. (Gcel) Iso 9001 Certified Company:

 Worked as a Senior System Engineer and led the team of 5 people for system level integration, installation and commissioning of extended C band satellite communication network at the customer premise.  Performed system level testing (PTS & ATP), customer inspection/acceptance, installation and field trial of DVOR system. Successfully performed 50 ohms cables impedance matching using short/open circuit stub calculation with Smith chart.  Designed and developed 100 watts CW RF power amplifier using MOSFET (MRF141G) technology.  Developed & tested RF power amplifier for 100 watts power DME system. Led a team for development of five different test jigs for 100 watts power DME system.  Designed and developed 10 watts VHF dual channel FM Transmitter and complied all design specifications like RF output power, Efficiency, Full power/standby current consumption, Frequency stability, RF spurious and harmonics noise limiting, FM deviation, Audio response, Audio distortion, etc.  Worked as a Network Administrator for more than one year on variety of platforms: Windows 95/ NT 4.0/ 2000, UNIX and configured different protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, IPX/SPX, DHCP, UDP, etc.
