Daily Duties at Bed Bath & Beyond:

Schedules and facilitates front end training. Maintain records and ensures retention of The information. Ensure that customer service and cashiers service the customers in an efficient and friendly manner. Secure our company's assets including shrink and theft. Provide a safe working and shopping environment. Train and develop the Front End Staff which included cashiers, customer service, and front end leads. Proper scheduling and staffing on a daily basis for the days business. Ensures accuracy and security of all cash received through front end upholding money handling procedures, cashiers, checking paperwork, and giving feedback to cashiers on overage/shortages. Ensure proper correction of pricing and scanning problems. Maintain accurate cashier training manuals. Ensure cashiers are aware of price changes, specials, and all changes in store policies and procedures affecting cashiering and customer service, Coordinate tasks and projects for cashiers when no customers are around. Effectively merchandise the front end and seasonal areas for customers to shop. Also do Manager on Duty in which you would monitor service levels in the building during certain shift and you would manage all the associates in the store. At any one time time there would be about 15-20 associates you would manage. You would the manager of the building during those shifts. This store employs around 50 associates/managers.
