Daily Duties at Jefferson Insurance Group:
Maintain agency/direct bill programs. Research/review and keep current working understanding of underwriting guidelines. Review and keep updated all personal lines forms for ISO (Insurance Service Organization) in compliance for all states specifically California, Texas, North/South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Reconcile unapplied cash by running reports to identify open items on subledger. Communicate any accounting errors and/or request policy information from general brokers for all personal lines product book of business. Manage account payable/receivable/service bills and record keeping for all personal lines business and outside vendors. Prepare/conduct powerpoint presentations to general agents and outside vendors with respect to the company's future growth vision using technology. Create/maintain an internet retail agency database for company's general agents to outside vendor to generate premium for personal lines products.
