Daily Duties at Pme:
We are on duty, live and worked in the palace 24/7. We have a diversity living staff of 55 workers’ to support the owner on a daily basis. (Room and board is provided for staff.) We employ personnel for security guard, drivers, laundry, food purchase, cooks, cooks helper, kitchen support, coffee & Arabic tea making, housekeeping, waiters, car washing, office secretary, boat & beach maintenance, telephone operator and the owner personal helpers. Each morning we walk around the palace looking for any visual maintenance problems and open the palace staff service doors. Furthermore stopover at the security main entrance to review the list of staff and visitors coming in and out of the palace. Visit with the maintenance contractor to go over old work orders and generate new work orders. (We implement a work order system with the maintenance contractor that only the palace managers are the ones who can authorize any repairs.) We inspect all the maintenance contractor final work before it is released and sign out. Visit with the housekeeping staff to asked what they need and inspect their assign areas for any problems and complaints. Check the main kitchen to make sure the kitchen is clean; the two walk in freezers are working properly and look for any trace of insects. Before leaving for work, meet with the owner for any complaints or special instructions to be accomplished before his return in the afternoon. Daily setup patio furniture, refreshments and cooking utensils incase the owner desire to cook and entertain his friends in the swimming pool area. During special occasions or holidays we set up for the family parties for 50 to 150 people. Regular inspections of all the electronic equipment at the cinema room, discotheque and AMX home system. We prepare and accommodate in the palace more than one hundred guests during religious holidays. Every two years his private yacht comes to Saudi Arabia. We prepare the crew rooms for the European staff of 18, set up transportation, telephones cards and entertainment for the time in land. Using Microsoft Excel we input all the new and complete work orders to ease follow the work flow.
