Daily Duties at Fionda Group Llc:

I was selected to design the specifications and project scope for their Hooza project. I was later hired as the Director of Technology overseeing both their in-house server farm as well as their co-location servers; and as the Project Manager on Hooza.

Given the Stakeholder's mindset and directives, I utilized the waterfall methodology through the design phase and used an agile/scrum methodology for the development, testing and implementation phases. My duties included: Documented the project scope; Conducted project planning using MS Project and other tools;
Wrote the technical specifications for the project; Sourced the offshore programming team. Conducted the team selection process, budget negotiations, timeline planning, and adjustment of scope and product backlog until the project management function was completed;
Budget management using client-specific tools;
Resource management using above tools;
Issues management;
Change control management;
Weekly status report;
Conducted daily scrum meetings;
Dealt with production issues and impediments daily;
Monthly steering communication/presentations;
Managing on-site and offshore developers;
Shared product ownership with business;
Managed/groomed product backlog;
Worked with other PM's (offshore development team, in-house marketing team);
Released code into production;
Interacted with Sr. Management and Managing Directors;
Managed both onsite and remotely;
Worked on initiatives;
Tracked velocity:;
Prepared daily, weekly and monthly comparative burn-down charts complete with detailed analysis reports on the same for the Product Owner and Stakeholders;
Kept track of weekly spend and reported on any variations in the same;
Planned two future releases/upgrades of the product to keep the product ahead of its competitors in the marketplace;
Prioritized backlog;
Managed and tracked issues;
and Anticipated offshore programmer issues and guided the project through the installation of a new offshore development from team selection, budget negotiations, timeline planning, and adjustment of scope and product backlog until the project management function was completed.
