Daily Duties at Stewart Enterprises, Inc:

As Financial Analyst, I was responsible for performing the financial due diligence for the Southeast Division of Stewart Enterprises which included Florida, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Argentina. I also performed financial due diligence in other countries that Stewart never acquired any businesses (i.e. Brazil, Venezuela, Chile). I prepared the budgets for all of the locations of the divisions in spanish and english, served as liaison between Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina companies and corporate accounting department, trained accounting staff in foreign operations on how to report on US GAAP and on the various Stewart computer programs, prepared/translated all foreign financial reporting to US GAAP for corporate accounting department, traveled to Puerto Rico, Mexico and Argentina to work with accounting department managers on issues with financial reporting for better understanding of financial statements, prepared president's report (summary of division's monthly financial statement for divisional president), I had 3 employees, assisted the company with the creation of the new Shared Services Center in New Orleans, LA in 1997.
