Daily Duties at Memphis City Schools:

•Serve as the school’s chief administrative officer •Supervise and manage projects for the betterment of the school •Responsible for the management, supervision and operation of school •Provide continuous professional development to teachers and parents to ensure the vision and mission of the school are always strived for •Provide educational leadership for the students and staff members consistent with educational goals of the district through workshops, faculty meetings, and PLC meetings •Work collaboratively with all staff, community, and businesses to strengthen the school’s instructional program •Plan, develop, organize, guide, evaluate, and direct the implementation of all school activities including instruction, building administration, communication, staffing and pupil services •Engage in ongoing learning to ensure most recent and best practices are being utilized •Evaluate entire faculty and staff annually •Responsible for the discipline of students as well as faculty and staff •Oversee numerous budgets for compliance to all federal and state regulations
