• Performed initial claim investigation and fact gathering services, the results of which were then analyzed to isolate relevant coverage issues based upon a review of the Insured’s policy. Evaluated the Insured’s potential liability exposure and drafted coverage position letters for the intended audience. • Responsible for setting both Loss and Expense Reserves for the claims’ files under my supervision, allowing the Company to accurately predict potential quarterly revenue and overall Company profitability. • Acting on behalf of the Company and representing its interests, was instrumental in the resolution of complex, high exposure claims by actively participating and protecting the interests of the party represented in over 35 mediations, arbitrations and settlement conference in 28 states throughout the continental United States. Provided risk management advice and alternative risk solution services which resulted in expeditious resolutions to the aforementioned mediations, arbitrations and trials, consequently mitigating the costs and expenses incurred by PIA. • Coordinated and oversaw the training and supervising of Junior Claims Attorneys and Claims Associates with respect to claims handling duties and obligations and litigation management. Selected by PIA senior management to draft manuscript endorsements, A & E and EPL policy forms and the recommended revisions to PIA’s A & E and EPL policies.
