Daily Duties at Rush University Medical School:
Responsibility: 1. Overall management of a retrovirology research laboratory including supervision of graduate students; training postdoctoral fellows and research technicians; generating hypotheses; designing experimental protocols; analyzing results; presenting research findings in scientific meetings; writing papers for publication; writing grant applications; and collaborating research with other investigators. 2. Teaching virology course and serving as a member in university administrative committees, for examples, Student Affairs Committee, Student Evaluation and Promotion Committee and Research Committee. 3. Served as an advisory member in doctoral thesis committees of graduate students.
