Daily Duties at World Projects International:

My official responsibilities included collecting documents from personnel at sites and contractors, compiling said documents into billing packages, cross referencing documents against service and transportation requests and submitting those packages to the billing department. My daily activities included calling personnel at site and requesting documents or corrections on existing documents. I would also work with our stevedores, trucking and equipment contractors to make sure that the documents were received were correct and matched the contracts. I was generally responsible for 20 to 100 services a month. These services included billing for personnel, equipment and storage to complex transportation operation. Additionally, I would periodically be asked to screen historical records of our transportation and service requests to provide total expenses and receivables for specific activities. These would then be used to support the accounting department.

What they like about World Projects International:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
