Daily Duties at Widowed Information Consultation Services:

Designed and implemented the Children's Grief program for a small non-profit grief organization. Worked with leaders of other Grief support programs to form community Grief Services coalition. This group provided expanded support to grieving families and individuals throughout King and Snohomish County. Was named incumbent Executive Director in January 2006. When I was given access to organization's budget, I determined that the small non-profit organization hadn't planned for or raised enough funds in the previous years and couldn't afford my salary. I worked with the board to develop a transition plan and laid myself off. Organization survives with a part time Executive Director.
