Daily Duties at Acs Tmhp, A Xerox Company:

Director of Internal Audit Department - a department consisting of two units - Audit (6 staff) and Audit & Control (6 staff). Responsible for the contractual obligations of the department, including the field audit and settlement of all Texas Children's Hospitals, the desk review and Medicaid settlement of all Texas hospital, RHC and other providers. Responsible for the coordination of all External Audits of the Company, responsible for the Internal Audit of company departments and processes per Executive Management. Review inventory levels and coordinate work assignments to meet contractual obligations. Work with External Auditors / Company Management / Client to ensure External Audits are operating as inteded in a timely and cooperative basis. Attend Executive Meetings for Operations / Oversight and CEO Executive Staff Meetings. Provide Internal Audit / Internal Control insight when asked / when appropriate to discss with Management. Work closely with Audit Management Team (Team Lead Audit / Team Lead Audit & Control / Sr. Auditor IT / Rates / Sr. Auditor - Internal Audit) to ensure department goals / work is being completed timely and efficeintly. Performing FTE analysis on a regular basis to determine appropriate staffing levels. Oversight over HIPAA / Privacy & Security functions within entity.
