Daily Duties at Contemporary Service Company:

Crowd Management Security Ticket taking Ushering Parking Services Box Office Services Guest Services May work at sporting events, concerts, conventions, plays or other large events. May work in a variety of positions such as ushers, ticket-takers or security personnel. Helps prepare venues for occasions such as concerts, sporting events, plays, trade shows or other types of live events. Assist with parking coordination. Responsible for checking bags and purses before allowing entrance into an arena or stadium. Responsible for performing electronic wand scanning of all guests at NFL games. Provide guests with directions or other venue information. Answer spectator questions regarding the event as well as hotel and area points of interest inquiries. Required to provide basic information such as the length of the event and the locations of concessions, restrooms, first aid stations and lost and found. Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt and friendly manner. Check to see if appropriate policies are being followed ( i.e. smoking in designated areas only, or enforce non-smoking policy). Provide access control, crowd management and ensure the venue is safe for guests. Keep stadiums and arenas clean during events, notifying supervisor or appropriate personnel making sure garbage cans are emptied regularly and restrooms are clean and well-stocked. Responsible for making sure audience members are in their proper seats and that all fire codes are followed by keeping the aisles clear once an event has begun. Assist in staffing the entrance and exit doors. Keep the crowd under control and protect the performers during the course of an event. Serve as field marshals during games. Provide basic site security for playing fields and the facility. Provide access control by ensuring that only authorized persons are permitted in their area of responsibility. Patrol the grounds of special events venue to protect against terrorism, theft and other illegal activities. Consistently and continually enforces facility policies and procedures relative to prohibited items, disruptive behavior, etc. Prevent theft of property. Effectively diffuse potentially volatile situations. Contact law enforcement or emergency responders when appropriate. While on post at the entrance gate check attendees' tickets or credentials. Accurately and thoroughly completes incident reports as needed. Complete other paperwork as required. Assist Public Safety in emergency situations at the event. Makes recommendations for improvements and safety awareness. Assist with event breakdown including disassembly tables and chairs.
