Daily Duties at Kitchen Basics, Inc:
The Central Region as currently defined, constitutes about 9000 supermarkets (with 17 SKU’s, about 100,000 distribution points). As Director of Sales, I was able to rapidly secure distribution of full spectrum of product in all targeted stores. (For reference, Kitchen Basics had been growing, at its peak, at a rate of about 6,000 to 7,000 points per year on a national basis within the last few years.) • Successfully piloted the increase in product distribution within specialty food distributors, supermarket chains, specialty food stores and consumers in the Central Region by: cultivating sustainable profitable partnerships and orchestrating trade promotions, trade shows exhibitions, trial product usage and public relations. • Called on distributors and retailers including: Kehe, Meijer’s, Marsh, Lund’s, Schnuck’s, Dierberg’s, Shop ‘n Save, Farmer Jack, Whole Foods, Woodman’s, Tree of Life, Cub, Roundy’s, Carmela Foods (independents in Michigan), Lomar (Hy Vee). Also deployed brokers for added retail coverage for Kroger, Food Lion and the self-distributed, U.S. Military.
