Daily Duties at Sea Change Intl:

Global, senior level, 24/7/365 support for SeaChange’s Video On Demand products, total back office solutions for major VOD providers (cable television and telecommunications companies such as Comcast, Verizon, Time Warner, ESPN, Insight, Cox, RCN, Virgin Media). • Provide comprehensive hardware and software support for installed customers, new implementations, field professional services, and customer development labs. • Support mission critical, revenue generating systems by ensuring maximum availability and functionality and by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a SQL database driven environment. • Develop and maintain consultative, collaborative relationships with customers while providing escalated and crisis-related service. • Support a variety of systems, servers, and software to include: Windows 2K3 Advanced Server, Windows 7, Vista 32 and 64 bit, XP Professional, Lotus Notes, Legato, IIS, and SQL. • Utilize remote diagnostic tools such as NT RAS, PC Anywhere, VNC, Dameware, Go To My PC, and Remote Desktop. • Provide initial and ongoing customer education as part of implementations, upgrades, modifications, and other rollouts. • Utilize Oracle, SDE, and JIRA databases to track and manage calls. • SME for MCD, DataWareHouse, Asset Flow-Metadata editor, and Adrenaline. Attend trainings and disseminate education through article writing.
