Daily Duties at Global Risk Strategies:

• Established and maintained all perimeter security for the US Embassy, Baghdad, Iraq with the use of Third Country Nationals including the British Army Gurkas from Nepal and the Shrilankans. • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) trained by contracting company Attacs LLC-Anti-Terriorism Training and Corporate Security. • Security Threat Assessment and Detection Course, Department of State MSD, Baghdad, Iraq. • Physical Security Assessment Course, Department of State, Baghdad, Iraq. • Successfully assisted the Department of State Regional Security Office in writing, organizing and implementing a Security Plan for the US Embassy in the International Zone in Baghdad, Iraq. • Responsible for the Enforcement of all Security Policies and Procedures at the US Embassy. FP trained (Force Protection) • Trained and managed personnel responsible for US Embassy perimeter security in Force Protection. • Responsible for unknown person(s) profiling for security access. Assisted the Department of State in the development and implementation of a secure access policy for both personnel and vehicles to include Diplomatic escort procedures needing access to the US Embassy and its facilities. • Developed and maintained contingency plans for VIP mobilization within Iraq • Developed all SOPs for Embassy perimeter security • Responsible for the liaison with civilian contractors for the implementation of all physical security. Examples: Cameras, Controlled Access Points, Utilization of Control room, T-Walls, Jersey barriers, • Liaison Officer to Iraq National contractors employed within the Embassy • Responsible for the implementation and training of all weapon systems used within the Embassy compound by security staff • Trained and staffed a QRF (Quick Reactionary Force) for the Iraqi Government Compound, overseeing rotation and training programmes. • Overall First Responder for Security Threats for said compounds. • GS/15 Level Rating for overseas work • Trained and developed a contingent of Iraqi Policemen providing QRF/Personal Protection (Quick Reactionary Force) capability to hostile situations encountered by Iraqi Government officials and their respective employees and family members living in the Red Zone. • Provided security liaison in respect of Saddam Hussein’s court trial council, Ministers of the council, the Prime Ministers and Deputy prime ministers respective offices • Security liaison to the De- Bathification Party Headquarters • Responsible for security to the Electorol Commission Headquarters • Polling site Security Liaison Officer for the first Iraqi Democratic Elections. • Security Officer for the Governing Council Chambers for the New Iraqi Democratic Government • Affiliated to the National Security Advisor to the Iraqi Government working to create a Government Protection detail for secured movement both entering and exiting the compound. • PSD(Personal Security Detail) team for the IGC • Overall First Responder to Security Threats to the IGC (Iraqi Government Compound) • Worked to create a SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Government to help maintain a high state of efficiency through frequent threats. • Helped develop and teach instructional plans for the Governments Local National Police Force (Iraqi Nationals) and the Nepalese Guard Force from Nepal. (British Army Gurkas) along with practical exercises. • Vast experience with electronic surveillance and access control systems in extreme environments.
