Daily Duties at Td Ameritrade:

• Conducted vendor security assessments to include vendor on-site assessments. • Reviewed and analyzed vendor responses to the BIT SIG security questionnaire. • Generated assessment reports to include identified security gaps, impact, and remedial recommendations. • Conducted follow-up meetings to discuss security findings, remediation plan and remediation schedule. • Conducted security re-assessments with vendors • Managed the day-to-day operations of the Vendor Security Assessment Team. o Vendor Assessment Team included internal TD Ameritrade associates along with 3rd party business partner Protiviti Consulting. o Evaluated, assessed, and identified testing requirements based-on ISO 17799/27002 standards, proposed vendor services and level of risk. • Conducted weekly meetings with assessment team; addressed challenges and roadblocks to ensure assessments were being completed in a timely manner. • Developed close business relations with vendors in order to align vendor’s expectations with assessment requirements and to address subsequent challenges and concerns during the Assessment process. • Participated in weekly internal cross-functional team meetings to discuss status of security assessments, strategies, and challenges. • Ensured SLA was being met based-on business requirements. • Assisted in the development of risk assessment priority matrix. • Participated in weekly status meetings with senior management to review assessment objectives, strategies, and approval/reject assessment recommendations. • Conducted vendor security assessments to include vendor on-site assessments. • Reviewed and analyzed vendor responses to the BIT SIG security questionnaire. • Generated assessment reports to include identified security gaps, impact, and remedial recommendations. • Conducted follow-up meetings to discuss security findings, remediation plan and remediation schedule. • Conducted security re-assessments with vendors. • Developed strong internal partnerships to improve communications. • Attended cross-functional project meetings to address security assessment expectations, requirements, and concerns. • Assisted in developing granular processes to tier vendors into different classifications based-on engagement and risk of data elements shared with vendor. • Assisted in updating Archer Risk Compliance Tool to obtain necessary metric information. • Actively involved in improving user experience using Archer tool. • Continuous monitoring, measurement, and improvement of the process around external vendor management. • Worked with the Vigilante Consultants to develop Compliance events in ArcSight. • Provide BCP requirements support for Compliance. • Managed multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
