Daily Duties at Winston Associates:
Planned and designed urban, commercial, residential, and resort developments to create comprehensive development plans that increase property value while sustaining environmental integrity. Managed all phases of the land use review process, facilitating negotiations among the public, private clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, open space departments, and land trusts. Led negotiations with government agencies and landowners to settle derisive land development issues. Worked with landowners to identify strategies such as highest and best uses, including integration of existing agricultural uses. Managed subcontractors, including surveyors, civil engineers, attorneys, architects and scientists. Collaborated with attorneys on project covenants, development agreements, and construction regulations. Prepared detailed development analysis of proposed projects.
