• Served on the Special Projects Team for the Medical Director; focused on functional departmental analysis and recommendations; responsible for increasing quarterly HEDIS rates for Effectiveness of Care measures for members of all managed care lines of business: Pap smears, mammograms, diabetic retinal exams, check ups after delivery, childhood immunizations, flu shots for the elderly; coordinated with provider offices for most effective intervention results; assigned to head implementation of HIV/AIDS management of care for members at Bailey Boushay House; served as member of the HEDIS Work Group. • Served as a health management coordinator; assisted with implementation of asthma and diabetes disease management programs; developed, implemented and evaluated preventive health study designs, member guidelines, and interventions for cervical and breast cancer; developed provider clinical practice guidelines for prenatal/perinatal care, check ups after delivery, and Pap smears and appropriate follow-up for cervical abnormalities; served on Data Analysis Work Group to trend and analyze data and coordinate activities with provider groups and accrediting agencies.
