Led the hospital’s efforts in strategic planning, facilities planning, marketing research, and program development. Developed numerous business and marketing plans for new programs for the hospital including their Centers of Excellence. Performed market research and strategic support for major programs and services. Led Quality Improvement teams in the areas of patient registration, outpatient referral process and discharge process. Identified and assisted in the development of community based primary care sites to enhance the hospital’s primary care network. Author of 7 successful CONs: an ambulatory surgery center, an ICU addition, a 32 acute care bed addition, a bone marrow transplant unit, a heart transplant program, an additional eleven Level III NICU beds, and a $52 million ancillary and support services addition. Also managed the architectural phase of the above mentioned projects and coordinated the equipment planning, purchasing and move-in.
