Daily Duties at One Beacon Insurance:
As a Senior Appraiser set up appointments for vehicle inspection. Completed detailed appraisals upon inspection of damaged vehicle. Handled claims that included personal and commercial auto as well as heavy equipment in the states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Negotiated and obtained agreed price with repair facilities. Submitted total loss vehicles to CCC for vehicle valuation obtaining ACV. Obtained salvage quotes on total loss vehicles. Moved total loss vehicles to storage yard to reduce storage charges. Reviewed and negotiated storage fees to contain costs. Expertise in investigation of fraudulent claims including arson based on training and hands on experience. Provided training of junior appraisers assisting them with claim management and workload.
