Daily Duties at Untied States Navy/ United States Marine Corps:
United States Marine Corps Third Marine Regiment, Camp Hansen Kailua, Hawaii - Camp Hansen Okinawa - Duration: 02/1993 - 06/2001 Forward deployed platoon Corpsman with the Fleet Marine Force. I was responsible for the health and well being of a platoon of forty four United States Marines. I provided combat surgical treatment for injuries sustained in hostile action. I also treated tropical diseases, minor injuries and provided evacuation for casualties and medical emergencies. I evaluated field sanitary conditions and introduction of practices for preventive medicine against disease to local populations. I was deployed in 1997 to South East Asia for humanitarian rescue missions during refugee evacuations.
