Office Manager/ Medical Assistant 01/ 2006 – 07/2008 Oversees daily practice operations and a staff of six employees. My responsibilities included overall operation and fiscal success of the practice; reporting directly to the physician and Operations Manager. Responsibilities: - Billing - Employee /personnel issues - Writing and maintaining/enforcing company policies and procedures - Payroll - Daily reporting of A/R - Compliance in areas of OSHA, HIPPA, billing and coding - Oversees business inventory, purchase of medical and office supplies. - Primary implementation and design team member for Misys Electronic Medical Record (Supervisor: Dr. Patricia Baumann, D.O./ Tanya Fahie, Operations Manager)
