Daily Duties at Aequicap Insurance :

Managed large pending of complex third party BI claims involving coverage, liability and damages from inception until final resolution. Investigated and adjusted complex trucking, commercial auto and taxicab claims, from standpoint of both liability and damages. Confirmed coverage, identified potential coverage issues and resolved complicated coverage issues. Resolved claims within level of assigned settlement authority. Managed large budgets for files involved in litigation. Oversaw, directed and monitored defense counsel activities with cases involved in litigation. Interpreted MCS 90 (applicable to commercial trucking third party BI type claims involving interstate travel.) Oversaw and directed subordinate Property Adjusters, to ensure timely investigations, fair claim resolution and immediate client contact. Represented company during mediations and trial monitoring and reporting. Managed vendor relationships while assigning outside investigation to vendors and service providers. Reported to reinsurance carriers regarding large exposure bodily injury losses.
