Daily Duties at Newell Rubbermaid:

Managed 4 salary associates as well as 34 hourly associates-three shifts. Hired, motivated and trained 34 warehouse personnel, 4 planners and 3 production clerical associates. Responsible for all inventory control activities which included supported forecasts, planning, purchasing, scheduling, production control, inventory control and distribution. Wrote Safety policies and training procedures. Implemented policies and procedures to ensure all personnel and were trained/cross-trained in all areas. Completed all reviews for 41 employees. Accountable for inventory within four wall of both Utah facilities, which included cycle counting, documentation of discrepancies with action items to improve discrepancies. Communicated discrepancies and required adjustments to Finance and the Leadership Team internal and externally for approval to adjust system Responsible for all purchases as well as vendor communication/collaboration. Conducted daily production meetings with Production Manager communicating material shortages, and how it impacted production capacity Supported new Product Launches ensuring raw materials and finished goods were available on specified date for production Communicated with Supply Chain and the S&OP (Sales and Operations) Team to ensure raw materials were available to support production demand and forecasts Responsible for all inbound/outbound shipments Drove scrap reduction and efficiency while controlling expenses by analyzing Bill of Material, material substitution, etc .
