Daily Duties at International Special Risks:

• Enhanced coverages while lowering premiums for company clients • Management of Risk Transfer, Placement for company’s offshore Rent-A-Captive • Employed internal risk control services to lower claim frequency and severity. • Utilized standard and excess markets to address client risk issues. • Liaison between client and external vendors. • Analyze, negotiate and amend business contracts for all terms and operational issues to ensure consistency with current business strategy for clients. • Manage TPAs, adjusters and outside attorneys, maintaining a 35% closing ratio on workers’ compensation program • Contributor in the growth of the company’s reinsurance portfolio, which grew from $5 million to over $280 million in reinsurance premiums. Responsible for the day to day management of claims funds and fiduciary accounts relative to the treaties, binding authorities and line slips held with various Lloyd’s and London Market Reinsurers.
