Daily Duties at American Diabetes Association:
I am involved in several programs of American Diabetes Association North Texas Office: (1) Project POWER, a church-based health education program. (2) Super Diabetes Sunday. We share information with the audience about the seriousness of diabetes. I was honored as the Chair of Super Diabetes Sunday this year. (3) Live It Up! TEA, a fund-raising event for African American women, I am part of the social media group, and (4) Regular administrative work, including submitting resources to Diabetes Local (www.diabeteslocal.com), submitting American Diabetes Association community engagement to CURE System, developing visual materials for upcoming programs, etc.
