Daily Duties at Population Council:

• Prepared U. S. Government financial reporting including monthly cash drawdown requests. • Prepared accurate and timely donor financial reports for an international regional portfolio of approximately fifty non-U.S. Government awards, grants and contracts from private foundations, non-profit organizations, foreign government agencies, and multilateral organizations. • Communicated with staff in regional offices to resolve issues with expenditure reports. • Performed and process inter-fund transfers, domestic and international wire transfers and check stop payments. • Monitored all grant expenditures and review appropriate grant terms and conditions to ensure that spending does not conflict with any restrictive provisions of the grant. • Helped with the coordination of the A-133 audit, preparing schedules and analyses of grant accounting. • Analyzed the monthly variance reports with the grant program staff.
