Develop, maintain and perform quality assurance (QA) on NTNO Process and Desk Guides for the Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center using Microsoft® Word and according to standards outlined in Coast Guard and Navy Correspondence Manuals, Government Printing Office (GPO) Style Manual, The Chicago Manual of Style, and internally established Style and Usage Guide Participate in business process mapping sessions to outline the framework of required content for Process and Desk Guides Develop, edit, and QA Ordnance Technical Inspection check forms in PDF format using Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe LiveCycle Designer and JavaScript Utilize SharePoint to ensure strict version control of documents in a team-based writing and quality assurance environment Perform document and file maintenance on SharePoint Develop, edit, and QA process flow charts using Microsoft® Visio Develop, edit, and QA Microsoft® Word document template used as guide standard Perform lower-level project management using tools such as a Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM) to manage resources and track deadlines to ensure on-time delivery of products Correspond and work with front-line subject-matter experts to gather information, resolve questions and obtain missing data Participate in client reviews with upper-level Coast Guard officers and civil services employees Participated in team development of a corporate guidelines manual for technical writing implementing Microsoft® Manual of Style for Technical Publications and The Chicago Manual of Style
