Daily Duties at Nbc:

Create, implement, and oversee highly effective production coverage of all live multi-camera studio shows, remote on-location shoots & award show coverage. Work with executive producer and production team to come up with new story ideas and segments. Then coordinate production from the idea inception through to post production. Draft NY budget, and recommend subsequent changes to over all show budget, along with creating and monitoring individual project budgets to ensure projects are produced in most cost efficient manner. Hire all field ENG crews, editors, and field producers, as well as create and maintain production schedules and calendars. Negotiate rental and sales agreements with vendors, as well as handling venue and location negotiations. Produce and write talent standups on location. Responsible for dealing with network liaison in conveying operational planning and coordination of show to network Manage all talent relationships, from assigning and scheduling talents on shoots , to booking hair and makeup, and scheduling talent’s travel. Handle Labor Relations with union employees and compliance with all local, state and federal labor laws. Oversee master control and post-production departments in New York Office. Set and continually manage project expectations of twenty-five person team to ensure production staff operates up to shows standards
