- greeted customers - Assisted clients with purchasing clothes, accessories, and home decor. - arranged, organized, and displayed merchandise - processed sales transactions, returns, and ensures that all related documentation is accurate and complete. - served customers in a professional and courteous manner - kept the store manager well informed of activities and significant problems. - remained alert and aware of any potential shoplifters - Unloaded shipments, sorted merchandise, stocked shelves, racks, and tables with new merchandise - ensured the neat and orderly appearance of sales displays - assisted with the presentation of window displays - provides product information including price, location, price, location of merchandise to customers. - kept records requests for merchandise for customers and notified clients when merchandise became available - operated the cash register and prepared customer receipts efficiently. Totaled price and tax accurately. - balanced the cash register at the end of each shift - processed credit cards, checks,gift certificates, and coupons, etc properly
