Monitors lesson planning and implementation to ensure that alignment of curriculum, instruction and assessment meet TEKS objectives and reflect strategies, which will meet individual student needs. Designs and participates in a personal professional development plan to improve professional skill and knowledge which is based on student achievement, campus, district and state needs. Monitors classroom performance of all teachers on a regular basis, offering pathways to improve individual student performance through improved teaching practices. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and listening skills. Develops a management system that encourages positive student behavior, self-esteem and a supportive climate to facilitate maximum academic achievement. Ensures that school rules are uniformly observed and that consequences of misconduct are applied equitably to all students.
