Daily Duties at Verizon / Bell Atantic:

• Promoted to Manager after 1.5 years as a developer. As Manager was responsible for 20+ Verizon IT personnel in multiple locations throughout the U.S. • Providing applications development and support for Bell Atlantic’s High Speed Solutions Centers, which sells and support high speed (ISDN and xDSL) data products. The original systems served a hundred plus users and quickly grew to over thousands of users. • Managing the entire regional Verizon Applications Development Team, which included contractors and personnel in several locations in the the U.S. Management duties included development, maintenance, system upgrades, implementation, and help desk support of application systems. • Coordinated infrastructure and personnel transition as part of merger process of NYNEX and Verizon. • Provide advice and ideas to senior management for maintenance and new systems development. Involved in the planning meetings with several departments in the development of call centers. -Responsible for time and attendance maintenance, corrections and reporting for up to 125 associates. Payroll posting and support in a timely manner for weekly payroll. -Knowledge of Insurance, Workers Comp, State and Federal requirements in regards to tax and employment regulations.
