Daily Duties at Life Fitness:
Performed trouble-shooting on electronic, electrical and mechanical cardio and resistance fitness equipment. Received and entered sales and warranty orders via phone, fax, and e-mail. Received inbound and placed outbound arranging for shipments and electronics repair for various types of machines. Served as technical support interpreting exploded-view drawings and ascertaining correct repairs and parts for approximately 1200 different types of machines (some currently in and some out of manufacture). Knowledge necessary included: how to prepare return authorizations, logistics knowledge (local/national/international), and call-handling specifics including knowing when and how to escalate a matter. Requested and was assigned responsibility of the Town Sports International account.--The parent company of: Boston Sports Clubs, New York Sports Clubs, Philadelphia Sports Clubs, and Washington Sports Clubs. Became the liasion between Life Fitness and the health club chain's personnel regarding any questions or issues regarding equipment after it was put into "field".
