Daily Duties at Trend Source:

 Member of Executive Management Team. Develop, implement and advise employees and top executives on company policies and procedures. Coach and assist managers with performance management issues and employee conflict resolution.  Select, evaluate and develop personnel to ensure efficient operations of all departments; recruit, interview and approve all new hires. Assist managers with workforce planning.  Proactively identify all new laws that impact employment practices, assess company impact and implement changes (maintain employee manual and employment related company policies and procedures) to ensure consistent management policies and minimize employment related legal risks.  Organize, design and conduct training; including New Employee Orientation, sexual harassment, monthly lunch training sessions and manager trainings on employee performance management skills.  Manage completion of performance appraisal process. Coach Managers on writing/conducting performance reviews and development plans and approve for compliance prior to delivery.  Conduct annual review of employee benefits to ensure company is competitive and benefits are valued and relevant; explore new benefit options and present recommendations to CEO for final approval. Manage benefit administration to remain compliant with legal requirements; develop and manage processes related to enrollment, benefit changes, record keeping, COBRA, etc.  Develop and maintain leave of absence practices and procedures; process LOA requests, train employees and managers as necessary and maintain documents for HR department.  Assist and/or make recommendations to CEO and Executives related to compensation to ensure fair and equitable compensation for all employees in accordance with local market and company’s compensation philosophy.  Conduct investigations, analyze findings and implement corrective and/or preventative actions.  Track and analyze survey and exit interviews/ turnover data and identify trends. Recommend solutions.  Support Finance department with semi-monthly payroll, including PTO and sick time calculations, non-exempt hours and overtime, benefits, medical deductions, etc.  Manage department budget, including training classes and materials, office supplies, benefits, etc.  Organize and coordinate company events and recognition programs (i.e. anniversary party, employee birthday, milestone celebrations, etc.).  Manage Human Resource and administrative office staff; provide training and supervision, delegate duties, review work, conduct performance appraisals, initiate performance management/coaching, etc.  Manage all ISO policies and procedures and ensure compliance to quality standards; including monthly meetings and audits.  Communicate with the Board of Directors quarterly or when necessary.
